Meri Parker has had her historical fiction featured in the Penman Review and the Copperfield Review Quarterly. Her works focus on the individual's experience in history, telling their stories through letters and diary entries.

Meri Parker was born in upstate New York, raised in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and graduated from high school in Burnt Hills, NY in 2008. She studied opera for ten years, but never lost her early passion for writing. Since 2010, she has had three short works published in literary journals, including her most recent publication in the Copperfield Review Quarterly's Autumn 2021 issue. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Speculative Fiction through SNHU, where she obtained her BA in Creative Writing in June 2021. She lives in New York State's Capital District with her three agents of chaos, who take the form of cats.

In Meri Parker's newest work of historical fiction, the life of a Florentine merchant's wife, Caterina Brisani, is chronicled throughout her adolescence and adulthood at the turn of the 16th century. It is available through the Copperfield Review Quarterly magazine.
